Dr Gary Turnbull is a veterinarian, international speaker, and a Director at Lincoln Institute of Veterinary Business. Gary is a highly recognised and respected coach, presenter, and facilitator in the fields of veterinary practice leadership and management, as well as veterinary business strategy. With a particular interest in personal leadership, interpersonal communications, and non-clinical professional mastery, Gary has presented on these topics across Australia, New Zealand, south-east Asia, and the United States of America.

After joining Lincoln Institute of Veterinary Business in 2014, the following year he delivered the 2015 AVBA ‘On The Move Series, Leading Change in Your Practice.’ He also developed the Goldmine Veterinary Dental Program, which he has presented internationally.

Gary has dedicated 20 years of his veterinary career working as a companion animal clinician and Director of East Port Veterinary Hospital, a multiple award-winning ASVA Accredited Hospital of Excellence, situated on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, Australia. He is a first-class honours graduate from the University of Sydney.

With a focus on business development, Gary is instrumental in educating and empowering veterinary business owners and all veterinary professionals to take charge of their practices, their careers, and their lives through the programs offered by Lincoln Institute of Veterinary Business.

Paul Ainsworth is Founder and Co-Director of Lincoln Institute of Veterinary Business and has a long career in senior management and leadership.

Paul is a graduate of the Australian Defence Force Academy, University of New South Wales, the Royal Military College Duntroon, and was awarded the prestigious Sasakawa Leadership Scholarship by the Australian Graduate School of Management’s Executive MBA program.

Paul’s career began as an Infantry Officer where he saw international service in five foreign countries, culminating in international service as a military observer in the Middle East.

On resigning his commission, he was appointed as the inaugural Director of ALDI Foods in Australia. His appointment as the nation’s first Director ensured his place in establishing the workplace culture of one of the world’s largest food retailers during its entry into the Australian marketplace.

Paul has served as the CEO and Board Chairman of Australia’s fastest growing company (BRW #1) after an approach by the board to lead a substantial change and offshore expansion. His capacity to lead this change in the highly competitive and complex energy sector is testimony to his ability to “walk the leadership talk.”

Paul spends his spare time with family and friends enjoying the many riches of remote Australia and overseas.
