Dr Mike Woodham is the Director of Sugarland Animal Hospital, Bundaberg Emergency Animal Hospital, Coral Coast IT, and VetSEO. He is also a qualified NLP practitioner, clinical hypnotherapist, and life coach.
Sugarland Animal Hospital is an ASAV Accredited Hospital of Excellence and was recipient of two prestigious awards in 2021, including VBG Business of the Year and Australia’s Best Led Practice Award.
Mike has served in various AVA board positions and until recently, was president of the Central Queensland branch. He is also a large supporter of Vets for Climate Action and is currently working on developing a sustainable carbon-zero, paper-free hospital.
He is currently living in sunny Bundaberg and is a father of three humans and one dog. Mike is an accomplished musician, who enjoys playing the tuba with various orchestras and brass bands. He is founder of the Australian Veterinary Orchestra and can be heard playing at the annual charity concert during the AVA conference.
He spends his spare time motorcycling with his boys, riding his Harley, and enjoying the beautiful beaches around the region.
