Leadership Coach, BVSc (Hons 1)
Dr Vron Wah Day is a Director of Pets and their People, a group of three companion animal Practices in Adelaide. Vron graduated in 1998 from The University of Queensland and after a short period in mixed practice, began working in 2000 within the clinics that she now co-owns.
As lead Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Surgeon for the group, which comprises two newly accredited VSBSA hospitals (one of which she designed and project managed to completion in August 2018) and a combined staff of over 50 people, she understands the immense value of effective leadership skills.
Vron started her leadership development journey with Lincoln Institute of Veterinary Business in 2013, which has massively impacted her as a role model to both her team and her children. Vron believes you can have it all and as a single mum to three school-aged kids, she believes she has found the right balance.
Vron and her business partner have developed their team to allow them both to be highly leveraged. They do not need to be involved in the day-to-day running of the business and this freedom has allowed Vron to pursue her many interests, one of which is playing women’s rugby.
Vron is involved in tutoring veterinary students at Adelaide University and has been a mentor for many new graduates through the AVA New Graduate Mentor Program. Vron is a graduate of the Lead to Succeed Program and a member of the Lead to Succeed coaching team.
